Everything In The Avant-Garden Is Looking Rosy

E-commerce specialists at Vertical Plus are hoping to have the Midas touch and help give a big online boost to an established business offering bronze sculptures and other high quality garden ornaments.

The web team at Plymouth’s leading e-commerce and marketing agency has built a new website for one of its new partners, Guernsey-based Avant-Garden, which focuses on high end home and garden furniture, ornaments and gifts.

Owner Nick Martel is hoping that moving to Vertical Plus’s proven bespoke web system will help him take the business to another level by concentrating growth on his bronze sculptures, as well as introducing a number of new, quality ranges.

Andersen May, E-Commerce Partnership Manager, who is working with Avant- Garden on the new growth strategy, said it is a highly unique brand with significant potential.

“The ultimate aim is to try and place Avant-Garden as the premier supplier of unique home and garden ware, the ‘go to’ brand for products that are quite simply a class apart in the current marketplace,” said Andersen.

A key element of realising the growth will be giving Avant-Garden access to Vertical Plus’s high-tech Admin and Content Management System that is already having an impact for all the agency’s existing e-commerce partners.

The system offers a wealth of crucial e-commerce elements that work in tandem to deliver increased sales, including eBay and Amazon integration, a number of Search Engine Optimisation tools and vital sales data reports.

Nick launched Avant-Garden in 2000 and has since built a loyal clientele around the world for his highly sought after products, both online and via his charming shop.
