A vaping company based in Plymouth is on course to hit £5 million in turnover this year – not bad for a business that began just five years ago with a handful of products on a trestle table at the city’s Pannier Market.
Now Flavour Vapour has called in the web development experts at Vertical Plus to drive the online promotion of its own brand of British made E-liquids, Now Vapes, which the company believes is the most comprehensive range of flavours available anywhere in the UK.
With six South West stores and a further 20 shops across the UK run as franchises, Flavour Vapour already has a strong presence, both on and offline.
Alongside the launch of the Now Vapes brand, the company also has further expansion plans, aiming for three additional stores along the M4 corridor.
Managing Director Shayne Adams said the Now Vapes range offers high quality, premium e-liquid at a highly competitive price and he is confident the brand will be a major player in a rapidly growing global industry that topped £1 billion in the UK alone last year.
“We have grown the business both online and via our High Street stores thanks to a combination of high quality vaping hardware and liquids, as well as a strong product knowledge and expertise among our staff,” said Shane.”
“We take a highly responsible approach to this business and have been rewarded with consistent brand loyalty. The challenge for us now is to build on that loyalty and grow the Now Vapes brand, the strength of which lies in the scope of flavours we are offering.”
E-liquid suppliers commonly offer between six and 12 different flavours, but the Now Vapes range consists of 27 different varieties. The full range is showcased via a brand new website developed by the team at Vertical Plus and are also available for sale on the existing Flavour Vapour web presence.
Daniel Dilkes, E-Commerce Partnership Manager at Vertical Plus, based at Plymouth Science Park, said with scores of e-cigarette and e-liquids brands competing for a slice of a multi-billion worldwide industry, the promotional challenges for his team are clear.
“What makes the Now Vapes range isn’t just the quality and scope of the products, but the dedication and attention to detail the team at Flavour Vapour brings to its customer service experience,” said Dan.
“We will be focusing on a number of e-commerce strategies to spread the word about the Now Vapes brand, positioning the company as a tried, trusted and highly responsible name in the industry.”
Flavour Vapour was first established by entrepreneur Robert Roy in 2012 in Plymouth, where the company has two shops. Thanks to rapid growth, two further stores were opened in Torquay, with a fifth in Exeter and recently another shop was launched in Taunton. Staff numbers have grown too over that period with the company now employing a team of 40.
The company’s 20 franchise shops stretch across the UK from Bristol to Dundee stocking a range of e-liquids and vaping hardware products. Along with Flavour Vapour’s own six stores, all premises offer a social environment where customers are able to vape and sample the product ranges.
