We have been working with our e-commerce partner Lawsons Shop since August 2019. A family run business founded in 1904, Lawsons is a household name in the West Country and is a home and kitchenware shop where you can find all of your high quality essentials at a fantastic price. Our initial work was to completely re-design and build a new e-commerce website following the Magento 2.0 update. In the first few months post launch, we saw revenue increase by 300% year on year.
In the past year, we have seen this increase further and since launch, we have now seen a 220% increase in organic traffic, a 114% improvement in conversion rate and on average, overall revenue has increased 740%. The additional revenue from the website has supported the business during what has been a tough lockdown in order to maximise sales and add many new product ranges during a crucial period of sales activity for the business. The Online strategy has mainly targeted new national customers with a lot of local marketing still driving revenue through click and collect to support all aspects of the business.
