Mylor Chandlery operate from one of the busiest and largest yacht harbours in the world and have enjoyed regular sales in their large store in the middle of the harbour. However, as with all seasonal businesses they need to compete effectively online both in season and out of season.
Mylor Chandlery have worked with Vertical Plus since the beginning of 2016 on a shared strategy to create online growth through multi channel marketing. Working with one of our leading partnership co-ordinator teams, the relationship with Mylor Chandlery has flourished with both sides eager to create growth and work effectively in the marine chandlery business.
They came to us on the back of some very impressive Amazon sales but needed these to be organised into a single inventory and then transferred over to a website and to Ebay.
Vertical Plus designed a new logo and brand for the chandlery to create an impressive national brand and have then worked with the client on promotions and pricing in a sector which is by its very nature extremely competitive.
Growth in the first quarter has been impressive with the brand already growing month on month by over 100%.
We are also working with Mylor Chandlery strategically to launch other brands, such as the Rope Warehouse, which will launch in the autumn of 2016.
